Frequently asked questions
How is XP calculated?
Messages give 10-20 XP with a 60-second cooldown, and voice gives 20 XP per minute. Both are adjustable from 0% to 200% of those base values, and reply and reaction bonuses can be switched on separately.
What are the level thresholds?
Level 1 starts at 0 XP, then 100, 250, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 4,000, 8,000 and 16,000 XP for level 9. The level formula is configurable from the dashboard.
Can I customise the leaderboard?
Yes. Enable or disable individual leaderboards (messages, voice, XP, timeouts, invites, season) and set the display limit to 10, 25 or 50 members.
How do I set up level roles?
In the dashboard under Leveling System, Role Rewards. Assign one or more Discord roles per level, and choose whether earlier rewards are removed when a member levels up.
What is XP decay?
Decay slowly reduces XP for inactive members so the leaderboard reflects who is active now. You set the inactivity period, the amount (a percentage or a flat number), how often it runs, a minimum XP floor it will never take someone below, and any exempt roles.
How do invite rewards work?
Members earn XP and roles for inviting people who stay for a minimum number of days. Tiers let you increase the reward as invite counts grow.
Can I exclude channels from XP?
Yes. Exclude any channel under Leveling System, XP Settings — useful for bot-spam and off-topic channels.
